The development in trenchless sewer rehabilitation has, in addition to the thermosetting methods, also brought about pipe lining by means of UV light curing - a space-saving system based on UV-sensitive photoinitiators.

IBB16 pressure pipe lining method

IBG HydroTech introduced its new technology concept for pressure pipe CIPP relining to the market. The IBB16® is a hybrid Cured-In-Place Pipe-Liner, combining the exceptional strength of glass fibre for pipe in pipe static design with an inner thick PE coating for best hydraulics and long-term performance. The inner coating provides an additional layer improving the long-term behaviour of the system.

News & Innovations

IBG is moving towards the future

Under this motto, IBG HydroTech is moving into its new halls in Alzenau at the end of November 2020. High production volume, increasing numbers of employees and the resulting lack of (parking) space are reason enough for a move.

For over 40 years, IBG HydroTech has specialized in the field of sewer cleaning and trenchless sewer rehabilitation. To date, the high-quality components and systems have been developed and manufactured in Büdingen. Production ranges from individual system components to complex vehicle assemblies, with production almost exclusively according to individual customer requirements. In order to always offer product solutions in line with market requirements, close cooperation is maintained with national and international users.

However, the new location will not only provide more space for employees and production. IBG has also set itself the task of investing more in export markets. Part of this objective includes future cooperation with international distributors.
